I really like your response overall. You bring up great points about the incentives around Medium and it's similarities to YouTube. You are absolutely right. The reason for the tone and title of this article is in large part because I was just interested in playing around with trying what seemed to be working for other articles. I admittedly did not put as much thought into the content and tone of this article as the people who are responding would have preferred. I honestly didn't really expect anyone to read it... This is my first medium article with more than 100 views... I was not prepared.

I'm sorry that the message you took away from this article is that I am suggesting that you are "busy with a recipe for disaster". That is just simply not true if you understand what you're doing.
